Melrose Casanova is a communications specialist with nearly 15 years of experience in leadership and advocacy, dedicated to using strategic communication to connect people, ideas, and policies for meaningful change. Her expertise in public relations is evident throughout her decade-long career, including her role as President of Melrose Marketing Agency, where she empowered leaders in business, politics, law, healthcare, and the arts to deliver clear and impactful messages. Under her leadership, the firm helped secure a $125,000 investment deal on Shark Tank and successfully lobbied for fair access to government contracts for minority-owned businesses.
As former Board Chair for Marketing & Public Affairs at the Lake Nona Regional Chamber of Commerce, she launched a tourism subcommittee, tripled event revenues, and led creative initiatives that boosted local business engagement and helped drive economic recovery during the pandemic.
Building on this foundation, Melrose has made significant contributions to the political landscape. For five years, she supported U.S. congressional marketing campaigns, contributing to strategies ranging from local outreach to national-level engagement on Capitol Hill. Her experience spans political marketing, voter communication, public perception management, and mobilization, effectively bridging policy with public interest.
Furthering her commitment to civic engagement, Melrose founded the Congress of Kingdom Advocates for Freedom (CKAF), leading nonpartisan initiatives to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to navigate public policy through research, advocacy training, and civic education programs. Currently, she also serves as Director of Communications and External Affairs for Alabaster House, a nonprofit dedicated to providing spiritual resources and leadership development programs to government leaders.
Beyond her professional roles, Melrose is a spiritual leader and apostolic mentor alongside her husband Juan Casanova. She is the Founder of AVODA House, a movement focused on restoring families, deepening faith, and equipping individuals to engage at the intersection of ministry, business, and government. She is passionate about preparing others for their God-given callings.
Her work is grounded in a strong academic foundation and legacy of service. She is currently pursuing a pre-law Bachelor of Science in Government: Politics & Policy at Liberty University (expected 2026), and holds an Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology from AdventHealth University. She is also a Certified Human Rights Consultant through the U.S. Institute of Diplomacy and Human Rights and has completed theological studies through Timothy Theological Seminary.
Melrose comes from a family of leaders in military, public education, public service, ministry, business, accounting, journalism, and law. Rooted in her Christian faith, Melrose combines strategy with spiritual discernment in her leadership approach. She enjoys poetry, traveling, visual arts, and uplifting those in her community.
