Transportation & Parking
Uber or Metro are Recommended.
Parking can be challenging. Here are some travel options.
Day 1 Wednesday 9/10/25:
Meet at the City Club of Washington 5:45pm
(VIP Reception - Special Invitation ONLY
Invited Sponsors, Speakers, & Special Guests VIP Reception will begin at 5:15pm.)
Atrium Level. Floor 1 from the elevator & main building level from the street.
Traveling by Uber use this address:
555 13th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20004
Traveling By Car & Need Parking:
Enter Parking Garage use this address:
Columbia Square - 520 12th St NW Washington, DC
Look for the Gold banner above garage entrance which says, Columbia Square, right before Subway sandwich shop sign. Do NOT park in Teal Warner Theater lot just before unless you have to. (If for some reason you need to park there you need to travel around the building to get inside). Parking at Columbia Square will allow you to take the elevators directly to the Summit to level one. Restrooms are located on the Concourse level C inside the City Club, which will be on your right as you exit the elevator.
There are other events taking place in the City Club on 9/10. The Leadership Summit will be in the Atrium on level 1 above the fountain and also the main building entrance level from the street.
By Metro:
Get off at Metro Center and make sure you exit by following the signs to:
12th & F. Once you come to the top of the Metro escalator and you are outside, the building entrance is just a few feet in front of you on your left. Summit will take place on the Atrium level 1.
.
Day 2 Thursday 9/11/25:
Leadership Summit is in the U.S. Capitol. Room H-117. You will need to go through security at the U.S. Capitol on the House of Representatives side which is closest to Independence Ave.
For Uber set your location for the Longworth House of Representatives Building at:
15 Independence Ave SE Washington, DC 20515
WALKING DIRECTIONS TO U.S. CAPITOL H-117
At the corner of New Jersey Ave. and Independence, walk across the street to the Capitol Building. Pass the first guard house, cross the cross walk and the entrance that will have a guard standing outside by the walkway is where you want to enter on your left. Tell the Capitol Police you are there for an event in H-117. They will let you pass. Walk inside the first set of double doors. Prepare to go through security, just like at the airport; however, if you have a belt on, you will remove it and put it through the conveyer along with whatever else you are carrying.
From that point, you will go through security and step to the right at the desk where you will receive a room badge, which will say H-117. You will then be escorted to H-117. If for some reason they let you walk through on your own you will make the first right to the open cooridor a left at the next open corridor and find the last room entrance on your left, which will read H-118. Go through that door and H-117 is just inside on the right.
Parking can be challenging. Here are some travel options:
There is no street parking that is readily available or that will last the duration of the Summit on the House of Representatives side; however, you can choose to park your car at Union Station, and Uber or take a Taxi that you can find waiting just outside or plan for a 12-15 minute walk to the opposite side of the Capitol. You must enter at the entrance that is closest to Independence Ave. on the House side NOT the Senate.
Travel by Metro. Exit Capitol South. Upon exiting the Metro make a left, walk to the shortest end of the block by the guards, take a left on C St. Walk 1 block, make a right on New Jersey Ave. Walk one block. Pass Cannon House of Representatives on your right. At Independence Ave. use the cross walk and make a left so that you are on the Longworth House of Representatives side of the block on your left. Use the New Jersey Ave. cross walk to cross over to the U.S. Capitol. The security entrance you will use is just in front of you on the left near the Capitol Police. See walking directions above for security info.
Make sure you are on time. Capitol Hill is a very busy place. We are so privileged to have our Summit right where all the action is happening. As such, there may be changes to the congressional calendar that impact our schedule, or cause us to advance a speaker etc. Plan at least an extra 15-20 minutes ahead of schedule to allow you to get through security and be escorted to U.S. Capitol H-117.
