Hester Peirce has served as a Commissioner of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission since January 11, 2018. Her appointment brought her back to the Commission, where, early in her career, she served as a staff member in the Division of Investment Management and later as Counsel to Commissioner Paul Atkins. Immediately before her appointment, Commissioner Peirce conducted research on the regulation of financial markets at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. She also has served as Senior Counsel on the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, where she advised Ranking Member, Senator Richard Shelby, and other members of the Committee on securities issues. Commissioner Peirce is leading the Commission's Crypto Task Force.

Paul’s career is marked by significant milestones. He rose to Senior Vice President at AOL during its transformative years (1997–2003), contributed to the turnaround and rapid growth of a global communications company in the early 2000s, and led the acquisition of Moreover Technologies in 2009 and its eventual sale to LexisNexis Reed Elsevier in 2014. He then co-founded and scaled Nehemiah Security, a cybersecurity startup, through its successful exit in 2020.
Today, Paul, consults through Salt Global and leads Pater Holdings, LLC—“Pater” meaning Father in Latin—a firm dedicated to investing in and nurturing promising technology startups, all to God’s glory.
Paul lives in Rosslyn, Virginia, with his wife, Lynne. Together, they are blessed with a son and a daughter.
Paul Farrell
Dr. Rev. Younghoon Lee joined the Full Gospel Central Church (now Yoido Full Gospel Church) in Seoul in April 1964. He studied theology at Yonsei University, the Full Gospel Theological Seminary (now Hansei University), and the United Graduate School of Theology at Yonsei University, graduating with a ThM. In 1977, Dr Lee began his ministry at Yoido Full Gospel Church as the editor-in-chief for Youngsan Publishers (now Seoul Logos) and was the first editor of the Full Gospel Newspaper. After his ordination in 1982, Dr Lee went to the US where he completed his ThM course work at Westminster Theological Seminary in Philadelphia and received his MA and PhD in Philosophy of Religion at Temple University. During this period of study, he served as the senior pastor of Full Gospel First Church of Washington.
He was one of the founding members of the Institute for Full Gospel Education (now International Theological Institute). As its executive director, he systematized and theologized Dr David Yonggi Cho’s pastoral principles. He has served in a number of positions over the years: senior pastor of Full Gospel Tokyo Church; professor at Hansei University; president of Bethesda Christian University in California; president of Japan Full Gospel Bible College; chairman of the Theological Committee for the National Council of Churches in Korea; committee member of Asia Pacific Theological Association; senior pastor of Full Gospel Los Angeles Church; vice-chairman of the Council of Korean Churches in Southern California; and president of the National Council of Churches in Korea. Today, Dr Lee is the senior pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church and currently serves as the president of the United Christian Churches of Korea.

The Honorable Joe Manchin
Joe Manchin III was born in Fairmont and raised in the small coal town of Farmington, West Virginia.
After attending West Virginia University on a football scholarship, Manchin became a successful businessman. As a member of the state legislature from 1982 to 1996, he worked to improve schools, protect veterans and senior citizens, and create jobs. Manchin served as secretary of state from 2000 to 2004. He also served from 2000 to 2004 as president of his local Marion County Rescue Squad.
Elected governor in 2004, Manchin took responsibility for improving the economic climate in West Virginia to retain and create good paying jobs with health care benefits for the state’s workforce, as well as to reduce the state’s long-term debt. He also was committed to ensuring a seamless education system, providing prescription drug assistance for seniors, and strengthening the support structure for veterans.
While governor, Manchin was an active leader on the national scene, serving as chair of the Democratic Governors Association and Southern Governors’ Association.
Following the June 28, 2010 death of Robert C. Byrd—the longest-serving U.S. Senator in American history—Manchin appointed Carte Goodwin to fill the resulting vacancy pending a special election. Manchin declared his candidacy for the seat and won the special election.
