Congress

Rep. Marlin Stutzman

Representative Marlin Stutzman is a fourth-generation farmer from Howe, IN. He returned to Congress in 2025 for his fourth term after previously serving from 2010 to 2016.

In his time away from Congress, Marlin was a successful entrepreneur in the manufacturing, agricultural, and food service spaces. He and his wife, Christy, also previously owned a farm-to-fork dinner theater that was accompanied by a meat processing facility where they raised Wagyu beef which was served to attendees during performances.

Marlin's business journey began at 16 when he launched his own beef cattle operation. By 18, he had joined his father, Albert, and other family members in growing the family business into a multi-million-dollar enterprise.

At just 25 years old, he was elected to the Indiana State House as its youngest serving legislator, balancing his political duties with full-time work in the family business. During his tenure, he played a key role in helping Governor Mitch Daniels eliminate a $1 billion deficit, turning it into a $1 billion surplus while fully funding a 10-year roads program—all without raising taxes.

After a term in the Indiana State Senate, Marlin was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010. In his previous time in Congress, he authored the Conservative Congressional Budget and was the original sponsor of the Right to Try legislation, which was later signed into law by President Trump.

In 1985, Bacon joined the U.S. Air Force and served nearly thirty years on active duty, retiring at the rank of Brigadier General. He specialized in electronic warfare and intelligence, serving sixteen assignments with four deployments to the Middle East — including Operation IRAQI FREEDOM in Iraq from 2007 to 2008. A National War College graduate, he also earned two master's degrees during his military career.

Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2016, Bacon represents Nebraska's Second Congressional District and serves on the House Armed Services and Agriculture Committees. Jerome Johnson

Jerome Johnson Jr. is a multi-unit franchise owner operating Dunkin', Baskin-Robbins, and Sonic Drive-In locations across Virginia and the Washington, D.C. region. Raised in a military family — his father a retired Army lieutenant colonel, his mother a retired major — Johnson developed an entrepreneurial spirit early, selling calling cards and mixtapes as a student at Virginia Union University, an HBCU in Richmond, Virginia.

At 20 years old, Johnson left school during his sophomore year to open his first Dunkin' franchise inside the Pentagon alongside his father, Jerome Sr. The partnership grew to nine Dunkin' units and four Baskin-Robbins locations across the Pentagon, the Defense Intelligence Agency's headquarters, and multiple military bases by 2009.

Johnson later expanded his portfolio to include Sonic Drive-In, opening his first location independently in 2016. As post-COVID shifts in remote work reduced traffic at government facilities, he pivoted to traditional restaurant sites and acquired a network in Charlottesville, Virginia. His franchise group currently generates approximately $20 million in annual revenue.

Guided by his father's principle of delayed gratification — reinvesting profits rather than taking early returns — Johnson has built his business with a long-term vision of generational wealth for his family. He is a passionate advocate for employee development and community engagement.
