Dr. Melvin Murphy

Dr. Melvin Murphy is an accomplished scholar, professor, and speaker specializing in business, leadership, management, communications, and marketing. A Microsoft alumnus, Melvin has written extensively for workshops, college courses, and corporate seminars conducted nationwide, with his work featured in over 130 top-tier business journals.

As a popular presenter and keynote speaker, Melvin has addressed numerous corporations, colleges, chambers of commerce, civic organizations, conferences, and clubs. He has authored several influential articles for corporate and government use, including "Internal Strategies for Assessing Organizational Communications Channel Effectiveness," the most downloaded article on ProQuest in 2018.

Melvin serves as a Scholar-in-Residence and a member of the Board of Governors at the Tower Club, a prestigious business club in Washington, D.C. Melvin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in public communications with a minor in sociology, a Master of Business Administration degree in marketing, and a Doctor of Business Administration degree in marketing. An award-winning professor at Northern Virginia Community College and an honorable Marine Corps veteran, he currently chairs the Fairfax County Small Business Commission in Fairfax, Virginia.

Chris Widener

Chris Widener has been named one of the top 50 speakers in the world. He is one of the top 100 leadership speakers in the world by Inc magazine and one of the top 10 sales speakers in the world by Success magazine. He is a member of the Motivational Speakers Hall of Fame and is the author of 25 books, including his latest, The Coming American Revival: the Biblical blueprint for igniting a nation’s soul. Rep. April Delaney

Congresswoman April McClain Delaney was elected in 2024 to represent Maryland’s Sixth Congressional District, which encompasses all or parts of Montgomery, Frederick, Washington, Allegany, and Garrett Counties.

Growing up in Buhl, Idaho, as the daughter of a potato farmer, April learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and education. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern University and her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University, where she met her husband, former Congressman John Delaney.

Before running for Congress, April served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Communications at the Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and the Director of Washington, D.C.’s Common Sense Media. During her time with Common Sense Media, April worked to safeguard children online and address the effects of media on children’s mental health and well-being. At NTIA, April spearheaded efforts to expand broadband access and digital equity, focusing on bringing high-speed internet and workforce training to rural communities nationwide. She also strengthened the nation’s cybersecurity, particularly through the First Responder Network, and played a key role in the White House Task Force to Address Online Harassment and Abuse, enhancing protections against gender-based online threats.

Rep. James Lankford

Congressman James Lankford serves Oklahomans. He served four years in the US House of Representatives for central Oklahoma, until he was overwhelmingly elected to the US Senate in 2014. Before his service in Congress, James served students and families for more than 20 years in ministry, including 15 years as the Director of Student Ministry for the Baptist Convention of Oklahoma and Director of the Falls Creek Youth Camp, the largest youth camp in the United States, with more than 51,000 individuals attending each summer.

Rep. Mark Harris

Mark is married to his college sweetheart, Beth. They have three adult children and ten grandchildren. Mark graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He went on to receive a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In Congress, Mark serves on the House Agriculture, Education and Workforce, and Judiciary Committees.

Rep. Buddy Carter

Earl L. “Buddy” Carter is an experienced businessman, health care professional and faithful public servant. For over 32 years Buddy owned Carter’s Pharmacy, Inc. where South Georgians trusted him with their most valuable assets: their health, lives and families. While running his business, he learned how to balance a budget and create jobs. He also saw firsthand the devastating impacts of government overregulation which drives his commitment to ensuring that the federal government creates policies to empower business instead of increasing burdens on America’s job creators.

A committed public servant, Buddy previously served as the Mayor of Pooler, Georgia and in the Georgia General Assembly where he used his business experience to make government more efficient and responsive to the people. Buddy is serving his sixth term in the United States House of Representatives and is a member of the House Energy and Commerce (E&C) Committee and the House Budget Committee. As a pharmacist serving in Congress, Buddy is dedicated to working towards a health care system that provides more choices, less costs and better services.

A lifelong resident of the First District, Buddy was born and raised in Port Wentworth, Georgia and is a proud graduate of Young Harris College and the University of Georgia where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Buddy married his college sweetheart, Amy. Buddy and Amy have three sons, three daughters-in-law and eight grandchildren.

Rep. Don Bacon

Growing up and working on the family farm in Illinois, Rep. Don Bacon learned first-hand how the value of hard work and commitment contributes to the success of a small business. He left the farm to attend Northern Illinois University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 1984. That same year, he married Angie, the love of his life. Together they share three sons, one daughter, and eight grandchildren.

In 1985, Don began his military career when he joined the U. S. Air Force and served nearly thirty years on active duty, culminating his military career at the rank of Brigadier General. During his career in the Air Force, Don specialized in electronic warfare and intelligence.

His military career highlights include two tours as a Wing Commander, at Ramstein Airbase in Germany and Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska; squadron and group command at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona; and expeditionary squadron command, flying combat missions over Iraq. Don served 16 assignments with four deployments to the Middle East, including one to Iraq from 2007 to 2008 during Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. Don is a National War College graduate, Distinguished Graduate of Intelligence School, Navigator School, and Air Command and Staff College. He earned two master's degrees while serving in the Air Force.

In 2016, Don was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Nebraska's Second Congressional District. He was named to the House Armed Services Committee (HASC) in 2017, where he currently serves on the Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces and the Subcommittee on Strategic Forces. In the 118th Congress, Don was named chairman of the bi-partisan HASC Military Quality-of-Life Panel and led a year-long inquiry into military pay, housing, childcare, support for military spouses, and healthcare access. His efforts yielded more than thirty legislative recommendations to improve the lives of military servicemembers and families, which were included in the House National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for fiscal year 2025.

After completing his work on the Military Quality of Life Panel, Don was named chairman of the HASC Subcommittee on Cyber, Information Technologies, and Innovation. Since 2017, he has been named by the Speaker of the House to every NDAA Conference Committee responsible for reconciling differences between the House and the Senate defense bills before final passage and enactment.

Serving on the House Committee on Agriculture since 2017, he led the effort on the 2017 Farm Bill to include language for a Foot-and-Mouth Disease vaccine and has four bills included in the House's version of the 2024 Farm Bill: a bill to monitor and prohibit foreign ownership of farmland; language allowing temporary contractor hiring for efficient SNAP administration during crises, funding for youth organizations, expanding programs in rural areas to nurture leadership and community engagement; and language to protect roosters and dogs, prohibit trafficking, enabling citizen suits, and enhance enforcement.

During his tenure in Congress, Don co-founded and twice chaired the For Country Caucus, a group of principled military veteran congressional members working together across party lines to pass thoughtful legislation related to national security, veterans' affairs, and national service issues. In addition, he served as Chair of the Republican Main Street Caucus, a group he resurrected in the 117th Congress. He is currently a co-chair for the largest bipartisan caucus, the Congressional Caucus on Foster Youth. A member of the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors since 2017, Boards for the Holocaust Museum, Don also co-chairs the House Baltic Caucus, the Congressional Office for International Leadership, the Electromagnetic Warfare Working Group, and the Congressional Soccer Caucus.

Following the 2019 Midwest floods, which devasted Offutt Air Force Base and Camp Ashland, Don quickly organized the effort in the House to secure more than $1.6 billion in emergency federal funding to clean up, rebuild, and modernize both installations, which are critical to our national defense and Nebraska's economy. Following his support for the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, Eppley Airfield has received more than $70 million to modernize this significant regional transportation hub, making it more accessible for international flights. Most recently, this legislation has provided more than $25 million to the cities of Omaha and Wahoo for sewer and gas pipeline replacement projects.

Charles Eggleston III

President & CEO, Three Seven Consulting

Army Staff Sergeant (Ret.) Charles Eggleston served honorably in the U.S. Army for 16 years, including multiple combat deployments to Iraq. During his final tour, he was severely wounded by an improvised explosive device (IED) and spent more than three years recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. For his bravery and service, he was awarded the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.

While recovering at Walter Reed, Mr. Eggleston became a powerful advocate for fellow wounded warriors from Iraq and Afghanistan. He transitioned into a successful civilian career as a systems engineer, managing high-level government contracts for the Pentagon, White House Communications Agency, U.S. Senate, and U.S. Postal Service.

Today, Mr. Eggleston is the President & CEO of Three Seven Consulting, a service-disabled, Veteran-owned small business. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Cornell University.

In addition to serving as Co-Chair of the Blue Star Families Board of Directors, he also serves on the board of the Salute Military Golf Association (SMGA), which uses the game of golf to rehabilitate and mentor wounded warriors suffering from traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), PTSD, and other service-related injuries.

Arthur Coleman III

Arthur Coleman III is a retired U.S. Army soldier who served with honor and distinction. During his deployment in Iraq, he sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was injured by an IED explosion—life-altering experiences that he met with unwavering resilience. Through determination and strength, he transitioned from Staff Sergeant to civilian advocate, continuing to serve others in a new capacity.

Mr. Coleman is a proud member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart and other veteran service organizations, where he champions the rights and well-being of those who’ve served. His deep commitment to veterans' issues has fueled his active involvement in political campaigns and legislative advocacy. As former National Service Director for the Military Order of the Purple Heart, he represented veterans on a national scale, working to shape policies that improve lives.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Auburn University Montgomery, a Juris Doctorate from Miles Law School, and a Master of Laws from the University of Alabama School of Law. Mr. Coleman currently resides in the Metro Washington, D.C. area, where he continues to pursue his passion for justice, leadership, and service.

Ralph Perpignan

Ralph Perpignan has served this country for 24years. With deployments and mobilizations that he served during his Military service from the Bosnian refugee mission, Kosovo ,OIF, OEF, Enduring Freedom and others. Retired from the United States started he has received countless accolades and awards from his peers as well as his soldiers. He has demonstrated above all means that honor and integrity comes above all.

While in the WTU he was able to obtain and internship at the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency doing so he finished his Undergrad at Liberty University 2011 and earned a full Grad Scholarship at Colorado Technical University 2012. At the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency was he was giving several awards in his leadership as a project manager. After being medically discharged from the something Army Mr. Perpignan began a new career with the TSC of the FBI 2011. Three months later shortly after leaving the Army his body began to shut down he found himself back in the hospital at the DC VA.

When transferred to the Warrior transition Unit at Fort Meade he realized that going to and from the hospital and being medicated by Doctors at the WTU was not the only thing that could be done. Mr. Perpignan began advocating in giving veterans another chance besides staying medicated by finding ways activates these young leaders Minds. To remove the depressions and thoughts of suicides that plagues us all to this day.

Mr. Perpignan stated in helping myself become better physically and mentally with the support of the poly-trauma unit at the DC VA he would not be the person he is today. Mr. Perpignan has seen as many other Veterans enough of despair and hopelessness to last more than one life time. As in the WTU as well at the VA he found Veteran Organizations that also shared his passion to help others achieve success in Life, Family, Financial, and Stability of mind and body. Through outside partnership he realized that the VA needs Assistance and Guidance through those who have gone through the system and survived. With greater focus on those who need a hand up not a handout. We must realize not everyone can speak for his or her self or for other. However, you must be willing to assist yourself in being a greater person tomorrow. Rob Wilkins

The Honorable Rob Wilkins, a retired U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant, is a leading advocate for military fitness. As a former member of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition (PCSFN) and the nation’s first National Fitness Foundation Ambassador, he drives health and wellness initiatives nationwide. For nearly 20 years, he worked closely with fitness pioneers Joe and Ben Weider as the military liaison to the International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness (IFBB), underscoring his lifelong commitment to promoting physical activity.

Through co-founding the fitness series, Fit to Serve, and contributing to various seminars and podcasts, Wilkins highlights the importance of physical activity for military readiness, national security, and recruitment. His service extends beyond his military career, actively supporting veteran organizations and promoting youth fitness initiatives and programs.

David Vardeman

A highly performing Global Business Development Specialist and Community Banking Leader, David Vardeman has exceptional experience developing and driving robust programs that are bold, innovative and scalable. Ken Harvey

Ken Harvey is a former NFL first-round draft pick and 4-time Pro Bowl linebacker who played 11 seasons in the league and is a member of the Washington Commanders Ring of Fame. Known for his relentless drive and leadership on the field, Ken has transitioned that same mindset into a dynamic career as a speaker, creator, and entrepreneur.

Today, Ken is the founder of Floatball E, a new sport designed as a movement-based mental wellness program that restores purpose, teamwork, and competition for people of all ages.
